Centre Eureka, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people that are over 40 and live in the Montreal metropolitan area to find employment, announced today the official launch of its blog (http://blogue.centreeureka.org/). No less than six authors will post texts and interact with visitors, thus contributing to the growth and development of an online support community. Since its foundation in 1976, Centre Eureka has contributed to the professional rehabilitation of more than 20.000 people.The new blog will therefore be a virtual environment where Centre Eureka’s target audience can not only to find advice, but also interact with advisers and contribute new content. Thus, visitors will be able to post comments, testimonials, and anecdotes, all of which will increase the diversity and the interest of this blog, which is unique in its kind.
“First and foremost, we hope that this new communication tool will generate word of mouth, so that people over 40 that are looking for a job will hear about our services”, said Paul Gagner, Chief Executive Officer of Centre Eureka. “We would also like to see our network partners get involved and partake in this effort to reach a large segment of our target audience”.
